FERRARI 328 GTS | REVIEW 2015 HQ

This Ferrari Club organize a lot of events which attract the partecipation of over 50 teams from each parts of Italy. This year 55 Ferraris and other supercars from Basilicata, Puglia, Campania, Sicily, Lazio and Calabria atteded at the festival, so be sure not to miss any of the videos I’ve uploaded in the appropriate playlist.

The event has been named LE FERRARI A MATERA and tries to combine passion and culture visiting the suggestive locations of MATERA, the second town of Lucania and also known as “LA CITTA’ SOTTERRANEA” (the Subterranean City), for its historical center called “Sassi”, considered World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1993, along with the Park of the Rupestrian Churches. The Sassi originate from a prehistoric settlement, and are suspected to be some of the first human settlements in Italy. The Sassi are houses dug into the calcareous rock, with many of these “houses” that are really caverns, and the streets in some parts of the Sassi often are located on the rooftops of other houses. The ancient town grew in height on one slope of the ravine created by a river that is now a small stream. The ravine is known locally as LA GRAVINA.

The event was enrich by a Regularity Race on the circuit of the KARTODROMO LA PALOMBA, historical track for many Ferrari Club and other kart enthusiasts.

In this video a stunning red Ferrari 328 GTS with italian driving licence plate takes part at the event giving me the possibility to film it in each detail like rims, engine, interior, the logo of the “Cavallino”.

The Ferrari 328 was produced since 1989 to replace the Ferrari 308 as “little” Grand Touring of the Maranello’s Prancing Horse and, with over 7,400 pieces made, its one of most loved Ferraris ever.
Originaly the Ferrari 328 was produced in two versions, the GTB (Berlinetta) and the GTS (Spider) respectively the coupe and the cabriolet edition of the car. Both were equipped with the same V8 3,2 litre engine with 4-valve/cylinder that developed 270 hp and 313 Nm of torque. Thanks of this little monster and at its lightness, the car reaches the 100 Km/h in only 5,5 seconds for a Top Speed of 270 Km/h.
The price at its launch was of 50.000 € but now you can’t find a model sold at less then 130.000 €.
Afterwards, following the tax imposed by the italian government on the luxury cars, Ferrari produced two new Turbo versions, the related Ferrari 328 GTB Turbo and Ferrari 328 GTS Turbo, mounting a little 2000 cc engine that could develop the considerable power of 254 hp and a torque of 328 Nm.
The performances of this “economic” cars dropped to 253 Km/h and 5,9 seconds for 0-100, not bad for a 2,0 litre.
In later years Ferrari worked on this incredible engine applying a second Turbo buster and placing it longirudinally like in the 288 GTO having a power of 400 hp. This prototype will be the basis of one of better supercar’s engine ever: the Ferrari F40.
The Ferrari 328’s production will over in 1989, when the car was replaced in its turn by Ferrari 348.

Complete walk around with each detail like interior, wheels, engine, logo and lights.
