MASERATI GRANCABRIO SPORT – Walkaround in Monaco 2014 HQ

Here another video from my special week-end spent in Monaco during the last Top Marques. Monaco is for sure the Carspotting Heaven, because you can see over one hundred exotic supercars and hypercars in an ordinary day and certainly in the Top Marques days, having the opportunity to see the exlusive cars engaged in the Test Drives without losing the chance to visit this wonderful city located on the beautiful French Riviera.

One of the most exclusive place of the city is for sure the Hermitage Square, named as the near HERMITAGE HOTEL DE MONTE-CARLO. A night in this luxury Hotel costs 1.000-3.000 €, so only rich people attends it and used to park his amazing supercars in front of Hotel entrace.

In this video a stunning white Maserati GranCabrio Sport with monegasque driving licence plate takes part at the event giving me the possibility to film it in each detail like rims, engine, interior, trident logo.

The Maserati Granturismo is an italian sports car produced by the manufacturer of the “Tridente” in its factory in Modena since 2007, to replace the Maserati 4200GT.

The first edition, the coupe, was unveiled at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show and had a 2+2 body derived by the Maserati Quattroporte Series V as its double-wishbone suspensions system.
The engine was a 4,2 litre V8 developed with Ferrari which can develop 405 hp and 460 Nm of torque, enough to take the car a top speed of 290 Km/h and an acceleration to 0-100 km/h of only 5,2 seconds.

Like every other Maserati, the GT is extremely beautiful thanks its design by Jason Castriota for Pininfarina, father of the Ferrari P4/5 and the SSC Tuatara, and includes 18-inch wheels, a big front grill and the characteristic shark vents on the sides.

At the 2008 Geneva Auto Show was presented a powerful version, named Maserati Granturismo S, featured by a 4.7 litre V8 engine which developed 440 hp and 490 Nm of torque, for a top speed of 310 Km/h and 4,7 seconds in the 0-100.

A convertible version, the Maserati GranCabrio, was presented at the 2009 Frankfurt Motorshow and was equipped with the same specs of the coupè but with a canvas roof.

The most extreme GT is the Granturismo MC Stradale (MC stands for Maserati Corse), a limited edition unveiled in Paul Ricard circuit in France and powered by 450 hp for over 320 Km/h of max speed. At the 2012 Paris Motor Show Maserati presents the GranCabrio MC also.

To replace the GT S, at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show was presented the Maserati Granturismo Sport with a new headlights, sportier steering wheel and seats, a MC ispired front fascia and above all a new engine with 460 hp.

Many limited edition were produced in the years like the 2008 Granturismo MC Sport Line (12 units made in Bianco Fuji and 11 in Bianco Opaco) which includes 20” rims, carbon fibre interior and details and an anti-roll bars.

Similat to this last is the Maserati Granturismo S Limited Edition, produced in 12 units and characterised by a unique matte blue trim and sold only in Italy.

At the 2011 Frankfur MS was presented the GranCabrio Fendi, designed by the italian stylist Silvia Venturini Fendi (only 50 made) with special handmade interior, unique GRIGIO FIAMMA color and 20” rims with the double F logo.

The Maserati GranTurismo is still for sale at a startin price of 130.000 €.

Complete walk around with each detail like interior, wheels, engine, logo and lights, driving, LOUD starting-up and really noisy exhaust rev sound.

Hoping you liked the video and that you want Share, Like and Comment to give me the opporunity improve myself.
