LANCIA BETA COUPE 1600 – Walkaround and driving 2014 HQ

Here’ another video from a new great cars Meeting in the south Italy this year at its 1th edition. Organized by the “AUTOMOBILE CLUB OF CATANZARO”, in collaboration with the “ROSSO SCUDERIA FERRARI CLUB OF CATANZARO” and the “FIAT 500 CLUB”s of Catanzaro (CZ) and Serrastretta (CZ).
From this beautiful collaboration born the CARNEVALE IN FERRARI 2014, a funny event which attract the partecipation of over 30 classic cars teams from each parts of Italy, specially from Basilicata, Puglia, Campania, Sicily, Lazio and Calabria atteded at the festival, so be sure not to miss any of the videos I’ve uploaded in the appropriate playlist.
This is a great way to spend a Carnival Sunday with your family having the opportunity to admire the beautiful and traditional carnival floats built by children parade through the streets of the awesome city of Pizzo Calabro (VV), Calabria.
Pizzo Calabro is a seaport and little country of less than 10.000 people located in the Gulf of Santa Eufemia, a suggestive scenary near Vibo Valentia. Pizzo is famous throughout the world for its sea, its historical monuments, such as the Aragonese castle where the former King of Naples Joachim Murat, who was the brother-in-law of Napoleon, was imprisoned for several days and then sentenced to death, and for its TARTUFO DI PIZZO, a really special preparation of ICE-CREAM that earned it the name of “Città del Gelato”.

In this video a stunning blue Lancia Beta Coupe 1600 filmed in each detail like rims, interior, logo and lights while taking part at the event, recording also the noisy sound of its tuned exhaust by TUNER.

The Lancia β is a car produced by the italian manufacture since 1972 to replace the mythic Lancia Fulvia. The car was the first Lancia born from the collaboration with FIAT, under the supervision of its chief Gianni Agnelli and it was a real success, with over 450.000 units sold.
The principal version was the Berlina, a luxury 4-door saloon produced in nearly 200.000 pieces and at now one of most beloved Lancia ever.
In 1973 Lancia unveiled a new 2+2 two-door coupe designed by Aldo Castagno and Pietro Castagnero and named Lancia Beta Coupe (over 100.000 units).
In the same year, with assistance from Pininfarina and designed by Mario Bellini, born a three-box saloon variant named Lancia Beta Trevi and produced in 36.000 examples.
From the collaboration with Zagato Design, in 1974 was launched a convertible 2+2 version called Lancia Beta Spyder Zagato, produced in 9.000 pieces.
In March 1975 was introduced a three-door shooting-brake named Lancia Beta HPE (High Performance Estate), produced in over 70.000 units.
The last and maybe the most beloved version designed by Pininfarina and launched in 1975 to replace the Fiat X1/9: the Lancia Beta Montecarlo.
Awaiable in Coupe and Spider versions, was a 2-door sports car sold in only 8.000 pieces.
All the versions showed many different engines starting with a little 1300 cc with 82 hp with a carburettor fuel system to arrive to the 2,0 litre versions supercharged with 133 hp (the 2000 VX) and fuel injection with 120 hp (the 2000 i.e.).
The Beta was replaced by the Lancia Prisma in 1984.

Complete walk around with each detail like interior, wheels, engine, logo and lights, driving and really noisy exhaust rev sound.

Hoping you liked the video and that you want Share, Like and Comment to give me the opporunity improve myself.
