LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO LP560-4 SPYDER – Walkaround and sound 2013 HQ

Here another video from my special week-end spent in Monaco last Summer. Monaco is for sure the Carspotting Heaven, because you can see over one hundred supercars and hypercars in a single day without losing the opportuniy to visit this wonderful city located on the beautiful French Riviera.

One of the most exclusive place of the city is for sure the Hermitage Square, named as the near HERMITAGE HOTEL DE MONTE-CARLO. A night in this luxury Hotel costs 1.000-3.000 €, so only rich people attends it and used to park his amazing supercars in front of Hotel entrace.

In this video a stunning white Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder with Monegasque driving licence plate parked in front the Hotel giving me the possibility to film it in each detail like rims, engine, interior, the logo of the “Toro” and to record its noisy start-up and its lovely sound while driving.

The Lamborghini Gallardo is an italian sports car built by the manufacture of “The raging bull” in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Bologna since 2003 to replace the Lamborghini Jalpa.
The car is named as a famous breed of fighting bull, as many other Lamborghinis, and born to be the “little” supercar behind the flagship Murcielago.

Presented at the 2002 Geneva Motor Show, indeed, the car mounted a 5.0 litre V10 which deveopped 500 hp and 510 Nm of torque and a six-speed manual trasmission, enough to reach the 100 Km/h in 4,2 seconds for a top speed of 309 Km/h.

This first generation was produced first in the coupè mode and took its design from the Italdesign Giugiaro prototype Calà but, at the 2006 Los Angeles Auto Show, was unveiled a Spyder version also, powered with 520 hp and sold for a price of 200.000 $.

The second generation was announced at the 2007 Geneva Motorshow ad was named Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, mounting a new 5,2 litre V10 engine powered with 560 hp and 540 Nm of torque, for a top speed of over 325 Km/h and an incredible acceleration with only 3,7 seconds in the 0-100. The next year, at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show, the coupe was followed by a Spyder version mounting the same engine and with similar performance.

In March 2010 a lightweight and more powerful version born, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera, with a carbon fiber kit, a rear wing and an encrease of 10 hp. Nine months later was unveiled a convertible Superleggera also, named Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Spyder Performante. Both the versions go from 0-100 Km/h in 3,4 seconds for a top speed of 330 Km/h.

Since 2010 many 550 hp and two-wheel drive limited editions were produced, starting with the Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni (250 made) with a white and gold color strip, the Gallardo LP550-2 Bicolore (with black roof and rims) and the Gallardo LP550-2 Tricolore (made to celebrate the 150th anniversary of italian unification).

The same year two cars were donated to the italian police: the Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia was used for charity events and special operations.

At the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show was presented a limited edition of 150 units of the Superleggera, the Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale. It was esessantially a road version of the SuperTrofeo race car and it was equipped with the same adjustable spoiler, 4-point safety belt and Pirelli P-ZERO Corsa tires.

Other memorable limited editions are the LP560-4 Gold Edition (10 examples), the Superleggera Nero Nemesis and Bianco Canopus (5 + 5 made), the Singapore Limited Edition (10 cars), the Hong Kong 20th Anniversary (aka HK20) produced in 8 units and sold for $3,5 M each, the Malaysia, India Speciale and Indonesia Editions (2 each), the Bianco Rosso (10 made) and the LP560-4 Noctis (a ONE-OFF).

The LP560-4 had a lifting in the 2013 with new front fascias with triangular and trapezoidal forms with diagonal elements in body color and black, larger air intakes ahead of the front wheels, new 19-inch “Apollo polished” alloy wheels in matt black with spokes in polished silver, redesigned rear end with a wider surface area, optional Style Package (high-gloss black paintwork on the underside of the front spoiler, front and rear grilles and the transverse element of the rear trim).

The production ends in 2014, with the launch of the brand new Lamborghini Hurracan LP610-4, and is the best-selling model ever with 14,022 Lamborghini Gallardo sold in every versions.

Complete walk around with each detail like interior, wheels, engine, logo and lights, driving, LOUD starting-up and really noisy exhaust rev sound.
