Here another video from my special week-end spent in Maranello during the Centennial Gathering of Maserati, the MASERATI100, so be sure to watch every video in the playlist I’ve created for.
Maranello is a little city in the center of the italian Motor Valley, an incredible land for each petrolhead for the presence of the most important supercars manufacturer of the world. Indeed here you can find the Ferrari (Maranello), the Lamborghini (Sant’Agata Bolognese), Pagani (San Cesario sul Panaro), Maserati (Modena), Stanguellini (Modena) and more else.

Maranello is the heaven of the Prancing Horses’s lovers because you could see many Ferraris simply standing in front the famous Factory, including all the new models Ferrari has going to lauch for sale. Also you could be lucky enough to see old legends like the 288 GTO, F40 or Ferrari Enzo went in the city for the service. At last be sure to visit the GALLERIA FERRARI, the biggest collection of rare Ferrari of the world.

In this video a stunning silver Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE spotted outside the Ferrari Museum for the annual meeting of the Ferrari Club France of Paris, visiting the Italy with other 40 Ferraris giving me the possibility to film it in each detail like engine, rims, interior, lights and cavallino logo.

The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is a sports car produced by the italian manufacture in Maranello, Modena since 2006 to replace the Ferrari 575M Maranello.
This two-seat flagship is entirely designed by Pininfarina under the direction of Frank Stephenson and was unveiled for the first time at the 2006 Geneva Motorshow.
Its name stands for its displacement (5999 cc) Gran Turismo Berlinetta, and Fiorano is a tribute to the historical private Ferrari Track.

Indeed the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano mounts a 6,0 litre V12 engine which develops the increbible power of 620hp and a torque of 608 Nm, making it the most powerful series production Ferrari of its time. At this monster was added a traditional 6-speed manual trasmission or a F1 SuperFast trasmission derived by Formula 1. The Fiorano also sees the debut of Ferrari’s new traction control system, named F1-Trac.
The performance are incredible, with a top speed of over 330 Km/h and only 3,7 seconds to reach the 100 Km/h, less than 11 seconds in the 0-200 Km/h.

In the 2008 Ferrari announces a new version named Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE, an upgraded edition with and improved handling. Indeed HGTE stands for Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione and includes a modified set-up with stiffer springs and rear anti-roll bar as well as new calibration settings for the Delphi MagneRide magneto-rheological shock absorbers when the manettino is at its sportier settings. The exhaust silencer was modified to produce more marked and thrilling sound under hard usage while still delivering just the right comfort levels at cruising speed. The exterior and interior were upgraded with more carbon fiber components and it also includes new 20-inch 5-spoke wheels.

At the 2009 Geneva Auto Show was unveiled a race version named Ferrari 599XX, a not street legal edition for the custumers’s track use only. The engine develops 720 hp and, thanks to the lighter weight, is one of the fastest supercar ever. Ferrari announced at the 2010 Beijing International Auto Show that the 599XX had completed the Nordschleife circuit at the Nürburgring in a time of 6.58.16 minutes, the fastest time ever recorded for a production-derived sports car.

In the 2010 was announced the Ferrari 599 GTO, where GTO stands for GranTurismo Omologato, becoming the third car in the Ferrari’s history to have this designation after the 250 GTO and the 288 GTO. The car is a road legal version of the Ferrari 599XX and Ferrari says that the 599 GTO is their fastest road car ever, able to lap the Fiorano test circuit in 1 minute 24 seconds, one second faster than the Enzo Ferrari.
Its engine produce now 670 hp and 620 Nm of torque, enough to reach the 0-100 Km/h in 3,3 seconds and a max speed of over 340 Km/h. The production was limited to 599 units.

At the 2010 Paris Motor Show was introduced a convertible version of the 599 GTO, named Ferrari 599 SA Aperta in honor of the designers Sergio and Andrea Pininfarina. The production was limited to only 80 examples for a price of 1 Million dollars.

In 2010 was unveiled the 599 HYKERS, using the Kinetic Energy Recovery System as a F1 car.

At the 2011 Bologna Motorshow was presented the 599XX EVO, a most powerful 599 XX which now develops 740 hp, weights 35 Kg less and mounts an active rear wing which can adjust automatically to provide increased cornering performance as a Formula 1 car. The cost is over 1,5 Million dollars.

In the 2011 was unveiled a special edition to celebrate the 60 years of F1 wins. Named Ferrari 599 GTB 60F1, was envolved with the help of Fernando Alonso and presents a unique coloration red and white with a TRICOLORE stripe on the spoiler. Only 60 units made.

Based on the 599, was developped two ONE-OFF: the P540 Superfast Aperta, commissioned by Edward Walson and the Superamerica 45, built for the 45th year as Ferrari client of Peter Kalikow.

The production will over in 2012, when the 599 was replaced by the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.
