FERRARI 360 SPIDER – Walkaround and sound 2013 HQ

Here’ another video from one of greatest Official Ferrari Meeting in the south Italy, now in its 5th edition. Organized by “LO CHALET DEI CERRI”, an unique Resort born in the suggestive DOLOMITI LUCANE in Basilicata nestled in the mountains’s woods of San Severino Lucano (PZ), a real paradise for those who love peace and unspoiled landscapes. The Hotel, as well as offering typical products of quality and luxury rooms, 5 year now gives us a wonderful event which sees the partecipation of over 30 teams annualy.

In this video, a stunning deep blue Ferrari 360 Spider with Challenge Stradale TRICOLORE stripes takes part at the event giving me the chance to film it in all its splendor and in each detail like interior, CAVALLINO logo, engine and wheel and to record its NOISY sound rev.

The Ferrari 360 Modena was produced since 1999 to replace the Ferrari F355 as “little” rear wheel drive and V8 powered coupe.
Originally Ferrari produced just the coupe version but one year later the Maranello’s Prancing Horse launched a cabriolet version, named Ferrari 360 Spider. Both were equipped by the same 3,6 litre V8 engine with the new titanium connecting rods system which generates 400 hp and 373 Nm of torque, enough to reach the 100 Km/h in only 4,2 seconds for a Top Speed of 305 Km/h. The car has this incredible performance thanks also to its lighteness, only 1180 Kg, and to a new 6-speed gear created first in manual only and powered then with a real 6-Speed F1 electrohydraulic trasmission.
The design was entrusted entirely to the experience of PININFARINA, who has
managed to make one of most beloved Ferrari of the history, with more than 16.000 pieces sold in this two versions.
To celebrate its success, Ferrari realized a Limited Edition production of a powered model (only 1,274 units made) named Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, introduced at the 2003 Bologna Motor Show.
This supercar derives directly from Ferrari’s racing experience and is a road legal version of the elder sisters FERRARI 360 CHALLENGE, 360 GTC and 360 GT. The power grows up to 425 hp and the weight is now of only 1200 Kg, for a performance increase to 4,0 seconds in the 0-100 Km/h and a Max Speed of over 310 Km/h.
First to be replaced by the Ferrari F430 in 2005, Ferrari produced a ONE-OFF limited edition as a special wedding present to Ferrari president Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, named Ferrari 360 Barchetta and without any kind of roof supports.
