FERRARI 250 MM BERLINETTA PININFARINA | 1 of 18 – 1000Miglia 2014 HQ

Here another video from the 3rd day of the 32° 1000 Miglia, part of the material I’ve recorded when more than 450 vintage cars passed by Rome in the early hours of the day to sign up at the Checkpoint, so be sure to not miss any of these watching the appropriate playlist I’ve created for.
The Mille Miglia was an open-road endurance race taken through Italy 24 times from 1927 to 1957. Since 1977, the MilleMiglia has been reborn as a regularity race for classic cars only, with the participation limited to supercars produced no later than 1957 which had attended in a original race.
Each year the event sees the registration of over 300 crews showing the best hystorical cars ever made including Bugatti, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Aston Martin, Mercedes or Bentley drived by the lucky owners comprise celebrities such as Jay Leno, Jeremy Irons, Bruno Senna, Andrea Zagato, Adrien Brody and Javier Bardem.
The 2014 editon is probably the best ever, with more than 450 cars subscribed and special guess like the FERRARI TRIBUTE, with 60 Prancing Horses including TWO LaFerrari, an Enzo and a F40, the MCLAREN TRIBUTE, with 5 rare Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss and 9 SLR Mclaren and other good stuff from the automotive world.
The route is similiar to that of the original race starting from Viale Venezia in Brescia and crossing through Padova, Ferrara, Ravenna, San Marino, Ancona, Macerata, L’Aquila, Roma, Siena, Lucca, Bologna, Mantova and Verona giving the possibility to over 5 Millions people to admire this unique spectacle.

In this video a stunning and rare silver Ferrari 250 MM Berlinetta Pinin Farina with italian swiss licence plate takes part at the event giving me the possibility to film it in each detail like rims, engine, interior, cavallino logo and to record its noisy start-up and its lovely sound while driving.

The Ferrari 250 MM is an italian competition car produced by the manufacture of Maranello, Modena in the 1953 to replace the legendary Ferrari 250 S.

After winning the 1952 MilleMiglia with the 250 S, Ferrari presented at the Paris Motor Show its substitute named Ferrari 250 MM in honor of the prestigious race.

The production was of only 31 units in two versions: the Berlinetta, a coupe designed by Pininfarina and produced in 18 examples and the Barchetta, a cabriolet designed by Giovanni Michelotti and produced by Vignale (13 cars only).

The Ferrari 250MM was a really light supercar with its only 900 Kg and had incredible performance for those years with a top speed of over 250 Km/h. Indeed the car mounted a powerful 3,0 litre V12 engine which developed 240 hp and a new suspensions and trasmission systems.

The Ferrari 250 MM won many races before being replaced by the Ferrari 625 TF and now is one of the rarest and most coveted classic car in the world, with examples sold at over 7 million dollars.

Complete walkaround with each detail like interior, wheels, engine, logo and lights, driving, LOUD starting-up and really noisy exhaust rev sound.

Hoping you liked the video and that you want Share, Like and Comment to give me the opporunity improve myself.
