ASTON MARTIN ONE-77 – Walkaround and sound in Monaco 2014 HQ

Here another video from my special week-end spent in Monaco during the last Top Marques. Monaco is for sure the Carspotting Heaven, because you can see over one hundred exotic supercars and hypercars in an ordinary day and certainly in the Top Marques days, having the opportunity to see the exlusive cars engaged in the Test Drives without losing the chance to visit this wonderful city located on the beautiful French Riviera.

The heart of the city, and “The Mecca” for every guy who likes automotive world, is certainly the CASINO SQUARE where there are the mythic Casino de Monte-Carlo and the HOTEL THE PARIS. This places, for the monegasque PLACE DU CASINO, attract the best cars and hypercars of the world making you time spent there unforgettable.

In this video a stunning and rare Aston Martin One-77 with monegasque driving licence plate drives around the city giving me the possibility to film it in each detail like rims, engine, interior, cavallino logo and to record its noisy start-up and its lovely sound while driving.

The Aston Martin One-77 is an hypercar built since 2009 by the british car manufacturer to compete with the italian rivals Ferrari Enzo and Lamborghini Reventon.
This supercar was announced at the 2008 Paris Motor Show and revealed at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show as the flagship and best car ever produced by Aston Martin.

The One-77 features a full carbon fibre monocoque chassis, a handcrafted aluminium body, and an amazing naturally aspirated 7.3 litre V12 engine which can develop the incredible power of 750 hp and 750 Nm of torque. Thanks to its heart and to its lightness (the car weights only 1630 Kg), the Aston Martin One-77 has impressive performance for a road legal car: the top speed is indeed of over 355 Km/h and goes to 0-100 Km/h in only 3,3 seconds.
The car uses a strengthened version of the DB9’s 6-speed automated manual transmission and height-adjustable pushrod suspension coupled with dynamic stability control and is featured by the special tyres Pirelli P-Zero Corsa with a size of 335/30 ZR20 and eternal carbon ceramic brakes.

The key of the success of the One-77 is for sure its design by Miles Nürnberger who create a car several time awarded with internationally renowned design awards like the prestigious BEST CONCEPT CARS AND PROTOTYPES AWARD at the Concorso d’Elaganza of Villa D’Este in Italy and the GOOD DESIGN AWARD by the Chicago Athenauem.

The production was limited to 77 units, as told by its name, and was destined to a very exclusive public who can spend over 1,7 Million dollars for one of these.

Seven cars of the 77 were made even more exclusive with the Q-Series program, adding red details, black wheels and a mad price: every Aston Martin One-77 Q-Series costs almost 3 million dollars.

In 2013 the Dubai’s Police Department announces that a One-77 has been added to its garage, painted in the local livery in white and green.
